《Clone》 existed back from the “Unlimited Edition”, and throughout the history of Magic, something similar can be seen like 《Mirror Image》 which was in a recent set from “The Core Set 2019”.
Magic has a history with cards able to copy others. For example, 《Body Double》 which is able to copy a target creature in the graveyard, 《Phyrexian Metamorph》, and 《Clever Impersonator》, which is able to copy targets that are not creatures also. In the history of Magic, different types of “Copy target” was designed in this game.
《Vizier of Many Faces》 was one which many may have seen from playing Standard while “Amonkhet” was legal or 《Phantasmal Image》 which was in 5C Humans and Spirit decks in the Modern format.

You may have Spark Double enter the battlefield as a copy of a creature or planeswalker you control, except it enters with an additional +1/+1 counter on it if it’s a creature, it enters with an additional loyalty counter on it if it’s a planeswalker, and it isn’t legendary if that permanent is legendary.

Even if this effect restricts to your controlling cards on the board, this 《Clone》 can copy Planeswalkers! What an interesting designed card in “War of the Spark” which is filled with Planeswalkers!
You can just simply copy powerful Planeswalkers such as 《Vivien Reid》, but in “War of the Spark”, we have Planeswalkers that have trigger abilities and static abilities. Copying 《Liliana, Dreadhorde General》 or 《Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner》 with trigger abilities may be very interesting to do.
We cannot forget the +1/+1 counter that will be added to this creature. 《Growth-Chamber Guardian》 and 《Incubation Druid》 are popular in the Standard format, and “Proliferate” is back in “War of the Spark” which we will be seeing lots of synergy around +1/+1 counter strategies.
You are also able to ignore the “Legendary Rule” and play multiples of the legendary creature on the battlefield, so you may see your 《Lyra Dawnbringer》 pumping up your other 《Lyra Dawnbringer》 which is quite rare and interesting to see!
Dawn bringing Lyra, who brings dawn to another Lyra, who brings another dawn to Lyra… Imagine that!
Since it is a creature, the +1 search ability of 《Vivien Reid》 will be able to find this card. 《Find》 and 《Memorial to Folly》 will make it reusable and is a very easy to use card.
