Problem

On 05/19/2017, I was looking for some ideas for Modern and saw a list of Madsutzon’s Druid Combo.

At first I thought it was quite refined. But gradually, I found that a problem had emerged.

Why do I have to wait until the Druid gets undrunk?

It is frequently fatal in the Modern format when, you just have to pass the turn without doing much, Storm can scatter a lot of Grapeshots, Valakut can have so very many eruptions and Affinity can kill you with a horde of machines.

So, how can I avoid this problem?

That question brought to me a revelation. If you can’t wait for it to get undrunk, let’s forcefully make it undrunk.

Then I searched for a fitting card that could give it haste, and I found the perfect card for the task.
