The pick is obviously 《Gideon of the Trials》. The Card is great in any circumstances, in any deck, be it control or aggressive and it protects itself pretty well.

Second best card is 《Magma Spray》. Assuming the player on my left picked a mono-colored card, he will pick it and play red. The other possibility for him is to pick 《Essence Scatter》 or 《Cartouche of Knowledge》 after a Blue first pick.

《Oketra's Attendant》 is a card advantage card. Cycling it then create a 3/3 flying make your deck consistent. It is the best card in the pack and also a white card that is perfect. We give an 《Enigma Drake》 after a pack with 《Essence Scatter》 and 《Magma Jet》, dodge red and blue as second colour should be a good idea.

The only white card here is 《Impeccable Timing》. It is a decent card but not great as a 3rd pick. The best card is 《Trial of Ambition》. Players on my right pass it and pick a common and another uncommon. I expect them to not want black cards.

《Soulstinger》 is a good control card, especially against aggressive strategy. Putting counter on himself make him annoying and he could kill 2 small creatures or one bigger. Other good cards are blue, players on my right are probably playing green.

No white and black cards. It is really clear that players don’t play blue. I pick Essence Scatter as a plan B.

We still have 2 good blue common cards in the pack. My 2 best cards are white, hard to not play Gideon. So, my choice is between UW and BW. I pick 《Wasteland Scorpion》 because 《Trial of Ambition》 is a better card then 《Essence Scatter》 and because I expect the player on my left to not be playing black.

《Cartouche of Solidarity》 makes 《Wasteland Scorpion》 a first strike deathtouch creature and works well with 《Trial of Ambition》. The only zombie I have is a 《Oketra's Attendant》 copy, but 《Wayward Servant》 as a pick 7 is a great signal from the other drafters. It is only pack one and I can get another 《Wayward Servant》 later in this pod so I’ll try the zombie deck.

Let’s continue with the zombie deck and pick this 《Swords to Plowshares》.

I will not play a lot of one drops in this deck. 《Evolving Wilds》 increase the stability of the deck and the chance to have a turn 3 《Gideon of the Trials》.

《Angler Drake》 is great put I will focus on BW zombies. 《Cursed Minotaur》 is better than Those Who Serve.

《Fan Bearer》, 《Cast Out》 and 《Final Reward》 are the cards here. The black card is a piece of removal but not as good as 《Cast Out》. It’s between the 2 white cards, one is a zombie that is cool but 《Cast Out》 is just too good and deals with any bomb card.

《Unwavering Initiate》 is great because it can trade with another creature and you gives value with Embalm. Also, the copy is a zombie.

Yeah someone opened a 《Wayward Servant》 and as expected we get it. Nobody is playing BW zombie at the table, so an Easy pick. But seeing a 《Curator of Mysteries》 Pick 4 surprise me a lot.

Another 3cmc Zombie. Here again I prefer 《Blighted Bat》 over Those Who Serve.

《Oracle's Vault》 is great for card advantage in a long game plan. Having 《Gideon of the Trials》 and 《Oracle's Vault》 on the board together is a dream that can now come true. I love 《Ruthless Sniper》 but I’m not making a Cycling deck here.

A 2nd 《Soulstinger》 is not the best card for a zombie deck but it is still a good card which controls a non-flying board pretty well.

It is not rare to side in 《Unburden》 on the draw. The problem of Mind rot is it become weak in limited late game when your opponent doesn’t have any card in hand and only lands. The Cycling solved this problem.

The only card for my deck. 《Winged Shepherd》 don’t have an impressive body for 6 mana we can have it something better, but it is still a flying creature and if you feel like you can’t cast it at the right time it costs only one mana to cycle it. Personally, I don’t think it is so bad and I don’t mind playing it in my deck.

Same as booster 2 I am not opening a great pack. I don’t think 《Approach of the Second Sun》 is a good card in my deck. Unfortunately, I am opening good Blue uncommon.

I like Horror of the broken Lands in general, it is not really synergistic in my actual deck but I don’t have a lot of choices from this booster.

《Festering Mummy》 and 《Sparring Mummy》 are zombies but definitely not the best. No joke. 《Bone Picker》 is an easy pick. 3/2 Flying deathtouch for 4 mana is far above the average stats.

2nd 《Unwavering Initiate》 makes the deck so consistent. Cartouche could be also great and it’s not wrong to pick it too because of Black Trials and Scorpion . I like really much Vizier of deferment but it is not what I am aiming for here.

《Seraph of the Suns》 is great in maybe 25 % of matchups. Decks who don’t play multiple 《Final Reward》, Compulsory Rest etc… Green and Red decks could be weak against it, having it in sideboard is an option.

《Sacred Cat》, not really exciting but there is nothing else.

Having Pick 6 Removal is lucky. Especially when this one costs only 2 mana.

Getting the best white common so late in the draft is awesome. My mana curve was a little high, 2 perfect picks in a row with this Compulsory Rest Then 《Gust Walker》, cutting white in the draft finally paid off.

《Oketra's Monument》 is the best monument in AKH. It increases your board presence very fast if you play enough creatures in your deck.

I could side in 《Approach of the Second Sun》 against some decks. I don’t want to play 《Mighty Leap》 in my deck, only removal.
