Did you know that there is a Magic: The Gathering musical and that at the beginning of time some of the most emblematic illustrators refused to participate until the game was succesful? That is the kind of random things that I like to investigate and that I will be telling you the next time we read!

I am Mafer(@MaferMTG) and during my short, but furious career in Magic: the Gathering I have dedicated to making videos for new players explaining those basic things that we are all embarrassed to ask when we start playing, also I make unboxings, I do streams and I make trips to Mexican stores!

I interview the owners, so all the community can have a complete picture of what is Magic specifically in their store (I like to think I’m a “magic google”).

These are the videos that I enjoy the most because it allows me to meet new people and make new friends!

But that is not all! I have also written in national and international magazines and newspapers about Magic, focusing especially on artists and coverage of important events such as the Grand Prix. My passion is to make the game known in new media!

As a player I like to explore all formats, I tend to play more often Modern, Standard, Draft and Commander. I love playing decks aggro, it’s not a secret that my Affinity deck is my beloved baby!

Hareruya will be the new place where you and I will meet. You will be able to see much more of what I do, I will be following the line that I have always maintained: inform players about topics of interest and generate communication between all the players! Because in addition to writing, I will be uploading videos to get to know more about the Latino community, many interesting things happen around here! I believe that the world is ready to meet us.
