Hello everyone,
Today I would like to talk about the deck I created for Grand Prix Lille and piloted to 11th place.
Since a lot of people had asked me on Facebook for advice regarding the deck, I figured I would write a short guide for it.

Usually is the weapon of choice against the Jund player. This is one of the reasons why is good in this deck, because people don’t see it coming. Also, the worst matchups for Jund are probably GR Tron and Bant Eldrazi, and they become good matchups with . Even if those decks draw their basic lands, they do not work well under the spell of and if you are not under any pressure it is basically a free win for Jund. Also the combination of and is super good and locks your opponent into a “can’t cast spells / discard into ultimate” circle. Even against Infect or Suicide Zoo if you play on an empty board it’s usually backbreaking. Day one, I beat an Affinity player with and he mentioned afterwards: “unfortunately you play maindeck “, the Affinity player said that? Hilarious. Against Burn it’s a little slow but it is still a card that voids all , and because they are only running basic mountains and non-basic lands.
Making Room For Blood Moon
It is pretty rough trying to play 3 colors with , so I chose to transform the list into more of a Rakdos splashing green for deck. I looked for something to replace with at first, but this card is just so good, there is really nothing comparable in red or black. Instead you don’t get to play any of these: , or in the deck. I tried during test but it is bad to have too many green cards in the main deck. Also you can’t play any of the green double symbol cards in the sideboard like or . Yes, a lot of concessions had to be made in order to play the full playset of maindeck.
Adjusting the manabase
The main thing here is that you’re not playing any manlands like or . This is better for you because you don’t have any tapped lands in the opening turns and you can easily play everything on curve. Your mana base is mainly fetches to get your basic lands to set up the plan. You have one mountain because it’s hard to not play it when playing 7 fetches anyway, saving some life is always a good thing. Taking 3 for a turn one or a turn 2 against agressive decks just because you don’t have this mountain is plain(s) awful.
The most important fetchland is by far since it gets you both basic Forests or Swamps. The other fetches don’t give you that choice and are less optimal when it comes to setting up the play. Because you are playing both Liliana and Kalitas, you need 4 basic Swamps. Swamps and Forest are the last lands you put into play, as you should fetch as soon as possible to not transform them into a mountain.

Chandra gives you great card advantage, deals with or tokens and it is easy to cast after Blood Moon. An opening hand with or is so good when followed up with a , Liliana or Blood Moon, so I’m up to playing 7 discard spells main now. is mostly used for removal and/or as discard, you can also cycle your or extra lands with it.
Keep an eye out for the new Chandra, since it will most likely be a great card for the deck.
Filigree Familiar might also end up being a good sideboard card against burn decks, or even in grindy mirror matches.
Here’s are a few screenshots showcasing how ridiculous is versus unprepared opponents.

I hope you will enjoy this deck in your future tournaments as much as I did at GP Lille.
